This is a relatively new motel. It looks great from the outside. The rooms, however, are small and cramped. With two queen beds, as we had, there was hardly enough room to open all of our luggage. NOT AT ALL WHAT WAS EXPECTED

The River Canyon Lodge websight was quite the bit of ficton. Upon arrival it was one disappointment after another. There was nothing there that provided the "Lodge" atmosphere. ""This is a clean and conveniently located hotel for visiting the Arches, and many activities such as the Hummer Tours, and whitewater rafting trips. Everything was dirty

On a 7 day trip in 7 different hotels this was the worst one. I know now that pictures can be deceiving. The bathroom was the worst. The floor was sticky, the shower curtain.... so gross I don't want to think about it. The room smelled.
