I stayed here while attending Residency at Norwich University 12 miles away. The university offers Residency students a free room in the dorms, but I have a thing against shared baths, no A/C, no TV, and no phone. Yeah, call me "picky." We booked this "hotel" on short notice and were promptly ripped off by booking over internet. We paid $127 for the night as opposed to about $75 per night. Don't think I'll use Expedia .com again. We had been traveling all day and were very tired, so we decided to look for a place to stay in Montpelier. First of all, Montpelier does not have a lot of hotels. Must agree with other reviews. Overpaid ($119) for a basic, but dirty room. Sounds like our room was not as bad as others, but when I dropped something and then took a close look at the carpet, found a lot of other stuff that should have been gone had the room been cleaned properly.
