Surpassed all expectations!!!
The staff at the Pitcher Inn was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, providing a level of service perfection we had only previously experienced at The Four Seasons in Maui. We visited the Pitcher Inn during August and stayed in the Mountain Room. The room is on the third floor and is incredibly peaceful and quiet. We never heard another guest the whole time we were there. The decor is quirky and in a way, rustic, providing an experience akin to camping, though in the indoors. We would imagine it would be a fabulous room in the winter as there is plentiful room to spread out one's skiing gear and assorted winter clothing.
