As known by many the Kiptopeke Inn formerly known as Days Inn used to have a not very good reputation as a place you would not like to stay. Poor

Given a dingy, dark room on 1st floor & requested a move. They gave us a new, clean, updated room on 2nd floor. Why we weren't given that to begin with, is beyond me. Lobby smelled like smoke. I really enjoyed my stay at this place. It has been renovated and under new management. I visited from New Jersey for my family reunion and it was a wonderful visit.
