New remodel: odd-shaped rooms with great comforts

The Hyatt Place Dulles Airport South has been newly remodeled, and was formerly a different hotel (AmeriSuites). During our visit in September 2007, our room was brand new and we felt like ours were the first footsteps on the very clean carpet. This is the Hyatt Place Dulles Airport South at 4994 Westone Plaza, Chantilly, Virginia. It is an easy drive from the Dulles airport, just down the highway. They do have an airport shuttle but we didn't use it. When you think Hyatt, you normally imagine over-the-top luxury. While this Hyatt Place is very comfortable, with some great features, it's not as luxurious as one imagines a Hyatt to be. I think that is because it is a remodel of a different hotel.
