The Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax was by far the best stay in a hotel I have ever expierenced. The room setup was perfect and provided much needed space. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. I really had a wonderful experience with all the staff at the hotel. I missed my flight and came in later than the rest of my party. They were prepared for me, and kind, and it was three am. This hotel was clean and comfortable, but a few things bothered me. First, the hotel bar and restaurant were only open until 10pm. The breakfast buffet is overpriced at $9.95 for the quality of food. Great hotel with only a couple minor drawbacks. We stayed here during a family vacation to D.C. We were disappointed with the Metro station shuttle, as it only ran four times per day (twice in the morning, twice in the late afternoon).
