The Tides Inn in Irvington VA is a lovely property. My 5 girlfriends and I went there to celebrate a milestone birthday. The property itself is quite beautiful. The flowers were abundant, with many types and colors, and the grounds were beautifully kept. We had two rooms, but they couldn't accomodate with rooms that were close, so we were split up across the property. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean. The towels were something to be desired. I've stayed with many 5 star properties and the towels, both in the room and at the pool, were not very good quality. I read someone's review earlier and got quite tickled because the towels were so rough and small. Not really the best, as previously described. Onto the spa.
