A great trip down the river

If you want a fun and relaxed day on the Shenandoah river, this is a great place to start. A few years ago we took a canoe trip and it was a blast. It was not a busy day and the water levels were very low but we did not get stuck (much). There are a few places to stop and swim. ... A Yahoo! User, a user of Yahoo! Travel. MoonShine and HorseShoes

Awesome place!! Don't mind the cows around campground areas..you'll be out cold from the moonshine so it wont matter much. Great Guppy Fishing. Save the pickle juice.. you will need something to chase that moonshine down with. And if youre a true sport .. dont forget to bring your own horseshoes!... happybirthday_michael, a user of Yahoo! We spent two lovely, peaceful nights in a rustic cabin, just a few yards from the gently moving Shanendoah Riv... InOrlando, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on TripAdvisor
