Tranquility in the Woods

This place is great

My fiance and I stayed two nights in the Bird's Nest. The Tanner's (the owners) are wonderful and friendly. The room was very, small but everything was arranged so well that it did not feel cramped at all. There was a TV with VCR, a radio and alarm, microwave, fridge, toaster, places to hang jackets, lugguge slid right under the bed, there was a little table and cup board stocked with everything (cups, coffee, sugar, forks, knives, bowls, spoons, coffee maker, can opener) and they even had creamer in the fridge and some snacks ... kgaz, a user of Tripadvisor. A Must Stay!

Check in went very smoothly the owner, Tana, is very nice. She was able to provide me with trail information for Mt Rainier (which trails were open, which were still snow packed and which were still closed from the November 2006 floods).
