The breakfast was astounding: french toast, fresh fruit, cereals, teas, coffee, a wonderful potato dish, vegetarian quiche and bacon were all offered up promptly at 7am with the beautiful view of the waterfront and distant mountains outside the window. more on Yahoo! Travel

Bellingham is a truly gorgeous city, but is limited on hotel choices. You generally have to choose between either overpriced resort-style hotels or cheap motels on the side of the freeway.
