NIce Hotel But Keep Your Confirmation
Stayed here on government business. As Dupont is almost surrounded by US Army installation Fort Lewis, it will not be a surprise that almost all the clientele for this hotel are active duty military, their families, and those traveling to Fort Lewis to do business with the Army. For anyone traveling to Fort Lewis, the location of this hotel is ideal. You can access Fort by driving one mile up frontage road (next to hotel and go left past bus stops) and cross overpass over I-5 for direct Fort access (if you have gatepass, of course). For anyone traveling to Tacoma or Olympia for reason not connected to Fort Lewis or Dupont, you will probably be happier staying elsewhere. Hotel is about two years old and is in new planned community that is less than five years old. Nice small downtown with several restaurants (Mexican, sea food, buffet, others) in walking distance of hotel.
