- Description of Surrounding Area :La Conner is a historic fishing village with 100 unique shops, galleries and antique stores. There is fine dining and casual dining, and everything is walking distance from our B. We are 25 minutes to the Deception Pass Bridge that takes you to Whidby Island or 25 minutes in another direction that gets you on a ferry to go explore the San Juan Islands. 1 1/2 hours northeast is Mt.
