The area is beautiful, but the room was awful. There was a thick layer of dust all over every thing. One lamp didn't work at all the others were so dim you literally could not read a book or magazine. Since there are no amenities all you can do is twiddle your thumbs. I would never stay there aga... Lovely tranquil setting, great food, enjoyed the art
We spent two nights (family of four and a dog) at Lake Crescent. The setting on the lake is very serene. We had the two room Singer Tavern Cottage, which was fine, but not well designed. beautiful surroundings- like being in a fairly tale. the lake and surrounding forests are peaceful and serene. the only fault here is in the cabins themselves- they are comfortable, but there is not enough hot water for a shower and the walls are thin. there are also no laundry facilities, so not... nursedianel, a user of Yahoo! Nice cozy lodge
