There's nowhere else like it--Amazing!
My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary by escaping to the Thornewood Castle. It was tucked back in a gated community, invisible to the rest of the city. Just OK for the $$$$
Beautiful old castle - however, I'd suggest being certain there are NO weddings scheduled to take place during your stay (unless you're a guest of or in the wedding party)... Gorgeous castle, but so-so B&B
We stayed at the Thornwood castle a couple summers ago and the castle itself was nicely updated, clean, warm and welcoming. The gardens and the view of the lake were lovely.
