Although considered a close suburb of Portland, Vancouver still manages to be more unique than Oregon's main vacation spot, offering a taste of Washington right across the border. With natural attractions just in arm's reach, this is a convenient setting for a quiet family vacation. As for lodging that allows you plenty of room for weeks, locals suggest looking outside of town and towards the mountains.
