Families looking for a Fairmont family hotel will have a hard time believing the perfection they will find within the Volcano Island Resort. There is a 50,000 square foot indoor water park on the hotel premises. Yes, it’s true. It’s always 85 degrees at the water wonderland, filled with slides a rain forest fortress that is 5 stories high. The little ones will flip over the 6,500 square foot arcade, and there is a play area for those who want to keep dry too. There will never be a moment on this family vacation when you kids utter the dreaded words “I’m bored.” This may be the trip they remember forever.
Overlooking the Monongahela River valley, this place in undeniably a paradise for kids, which in turn makes for happy parents because kids who have used up all their energy sleep very well – giving parents their needed alone time.
