My friend came to New York during the New Year. It was high season for New York, I was lucky to be able to find a room for her at YMCA Vanderbilt. The room is incredible tiny with no private bath or shower. There is no room service ... more on VirtualTourist

The YMCA Vanderbilt has a great location, the rooms are basic and small, but they are clean and you can use the pool and other facilities if you show your hotel keycard. The restaurant is reasonable and the food ok - good for breakfast. ... more on VirtualTourist
