A friend who was doing real estate research in the Apostle Islands suggested that we might enjoy the Bayfield area for a vacation. Wonderful Stay at the Bayfield Inn
We stayed at the Bayfield in for a week (Sept 15 - Sept 21) with another couple and we had separate rooms. Both rooms were facing Lake Superior / Madeline Island with ours on the 2nd floor and the other on the 1st floor. The location is the best, being right on Lake Superior and a walking path an... The Bayfield Inn is a wonderful surprise!
This locally owned and operated Inn was fairly full, but they did have rooms available in their guest house when we contacted them the day prior to going there.
