Well, there is nothing I didn't like about the greentree. The people who work there, kim and peggy, are awesome! They are very friendly and helpful. I go to eau claire every couple of months, they always have a room waiting for me ... more on Yahoo! Travel

The service was nice. Getting a room was easy but it is slightly difficult to get there if you don't know the town well.

In a scary part of town, where the homeless shelter puts up transients. Old, dirty and fleabag! I was less afraid of the drunks than I was the staff. ... more on Yahoo! Travel

Downtown Eau Claire has much to offer for those without a car and if traveling GreenTree is a convenient starting point to get around the city.
