From first glance, La Crosse looks like any ordinary Wisconsin town. Dive into downtown La Crosse and you'll truly see why you shouldn't read a book by its cover. La Crosse, west Wisconsin's biggest family vacation destination, is noted for many things, including the gateway to Wisconsin Dells and home to numerous natural attractions only seen in western Wisconsin.
