Fantastic

Wow, this was a great hotel. Booked it in advance on their website, and pre-paid for a great price. It's 5 mins walk from all the state street boutiques and cafes. 3rd WORST staff I've found!

A COOKIE? So what? Every single DoubleTree gives you a cookie. That's why they're known as DBL Tree cookies. But a dang cookie doesn't make up for crappy customer service. Best Beds in the World!

Having stayed at many properties that advertise a special"comfort bed experience," I have to say that this property really did have the most comfortable beds ever. Adequate but nothing special

The Doubletree looks like it used to be a different, lesser-quality hotel in a previous life. It still retains some of the feel of its previous existence. Everything's negotioable

I stayed here in the summer last year (2003). Like a fool, I came into town during Maxwell St. days and didn't make a reservation anywhere. There was also some kind of convention so evereything was full and what was open was outrageously expensive. I called up the Howard Johnson and they cut me a...
