Very nice hotel, but less pet friendly than advertised
We travel with a older 10 pound poodle, so we look for lodging that will accept small pets, without having to stay in a "designated room" which often turns out to be a less desirable or a smoking room. Hotel Metro advertised their pet friendly environment, so we booked a night there on our trip, even though that meant going out of our way into downtown ... deltalimemike, a user of Tripadvisor. VERY DISSAPOINTED!
I have never written a review of anything on the web but I plan on letting everyone know about the shortcomings of this hotel. The reviews I read for this hotel impressed me, so did their website. Well it is by far not the luxurious place it touts itself as. It is a quirky hotel with a GREAT VALET in a terribly constructed building. The walls are not only thin, they move!
