Wish we could have stayed longer...
We had a fabulous experience at the Stoney Creek in LaCrosse. Not only is it convientely located right off the highway, it is also very quite tucked back into the little woods- we even saw a HUGE muskrat playing in the creek. Very nice, newer hotel, Pleasant desk staff, nicely laid out. I looked at, but didn't use the vacant pool & hot tub area, seemed very nice though. Conntinental breakfast was nothing special: Cereals, fruit, yogurt, toaster pancakes, the usual pastries- I was hoping for something better here! But ... Flipper, a user of hotels.com.
