Rawlins offers great country charm that will impress romantic couples and families alike. Located at the state of Kansas, this area has a population of around 3000. The largest seat is Atwood. Rawlins is a pet friendly area; for example, the Rawlins KOA allows dogs of all sizes to enter with no additional fees. However, take note that your pet must not be left unattended and there are rules such as leashing the dog to keep them from scaring other visitors. Likewise, the Western Hills Campgrounds have the same conditions.
As you can see, Rawlins is definitely the place to be for dog lovers. Aside from this feature though, its vast land is also a very romantic destination. It is no wonder then that there are many Rawlins Romantic Bed and Breakfast establishments that abound. We particularly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Rawlins because of its convenient location that is close the city center and major shopping destinations.
Other attractions include the Seminoe Reservoir, the Carbon County Museum, and the Rochell Ranch Golf Course. Of course, you should not miss seeing world famous destinations such as the Snowy Range and the Sierra Madre Mountains.
